Suspicious Solicitors requesting to see your power bill…
Date Posted: Friday, December 13th, 2013We have received several complaints regarding suspicious door to door solicitors requesting to see your power bill and some citizens have received phone call regarding power bills. I have contacted Delmarva Power for comment and they are asking for people who have received the solicitations to please contact their customer service department to report the activity, their phone number is 800-375-7117. Resolution 2013.12.09 R02 Water Rates
Date Posted: Thursday, December 12th, 2013The Town Council meeting on December 9th, resolution #2013.12.09 R02 A Resolution adopting the rates to be charged for the supply of water, was passed unanimously. Please click on the link to view the resolution. 2013.12.09R02 Water Rates. The new water rates are $21.50 which include up to 2000 gallons and $6.15 per thousand gallons after. The rates are effective for the January usage which will be billed in February. It is important to note that the town’s water rates are based on an equivalent dwelling unit (EDU). For those apartments and duplexes that only have one water meter you will be charged the per EDU rate for every unit in your complex/duplex. You will receive the minimum gallon allowance per EDU also. Example: If you have 2 units on one meter your base charge will be $21.50 x 2 = $43.00, if you have 6,000 gallons used, the first […]
