Mullen, a native of Dover. Warrant Officer Mullen died Sunday in Afghanistan of injuries sustained from an improvised explosive device. Warrant Officer Mullen served his country valiantly for almost two decades, completing tours of duty in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Flags will remain at half-staff until the close of business on Friday, June 7.

Cemetery Care Bid Awarded
Date Posted: Tuesday, April 9th, 2013The town received two bids for the Market Street Cemetery Care for cutting and trimming for the 2013 season. The town administrator read the bids on Monday’s Council meeting. ~Affordable Lawn Care $220.00 per cut and all documents were received making this an eligible bid. ~Distinctive Landscaping $199.00 per cut and all documents were received making this an eligible bid. Councilman Russell Joseph made a motion to accept the bid from Distinctive Landscaping for $199.00 per cut and trim; motion seconded by Councilman David Ruff; motion accepted.
