Date Posted: Tuesday, October 1st, 2024The Town of Blades will be flushing fire hydrants October 14th to October 18th. Once the fire hydrants are flushed, dirty water may be seen when first turning on faucets. To correct this, turn on the cold-water faucet and let water run until clear water appears. This may take two or three minutes, depending on the length of pipe for the water main.

Items that cannot be disposed of at this event: chemicals, paint, fuel powered equipment, large appliances, batteries, tires, chemical waste, combustible materials, bio-hazardous materials, and liquids.
