Blades 100th Anniversary Celebration! May 15th & 16th

Come and Join the FUN! Friday, May 15th 2015 at the Blades Park from 6pm to 7pm the town is having a “Homecoming Dinner”. Tickets are $8 and children 12 and under eat for free.  Proceeds of every ticket sold will go to the Blades Volunteer Fire Company Building Fund.  Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Pasta, Sodas, Water, and Rita’s Ice! 🙂 Call town hall at 302-629-7366 with any questions.  Tickets can be purchased at Town Hall Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. The one (1) candidate receiving the highest number of votes shall be elected for a two year term. 2014 Blades Kids Christmas Bazaar

On Sunday, December 7th, 2014, the Town of Blades held it’s annual “Kid’s Christmas Craft Bazaar”. Over 100 lucky children left with armfuls of toys and holiday crafts.  There were games, lunch, and of course pictures with Santa. Coordinated with the help of his elves, these fun loving volunteers give up their day to help manufacture smiles.  Their unselfish, heartfelt assistance is priceless. 2015 Little Miss, Junior Miss, and Miss Blades Crowned…

                                              November 14th, 2014: Friday evening at Blades United Methodist Church, 2015 Little Miss, Junior Miss, and Miss Blades were crowned.  We are very proud of all the young ladies that participated.
