National Election on November 6th Town offices will be closed

Town Hall will be closed for the National Election on November 6th, 2012. Make sure you vote!

July 4th, 2012 Town Hall Closed

Town Hall will be closed on Wednesday July 4th, 2012. We will re-open on Thursday at 8:30am. Any water emergencies please call Brandon Slater at 302-853-2002. Any other town emergencies please call the Town Administrator, Vikki Prettyman, at 302-853-0997.

Boy Scout Troop 381 will be conducting a Flag Ceremony at the Blades Park on June 14th, 2012 at 6:30PM. The Troop will be retiring the flags that have been given to them and the Town. This is a very powerful event that serves as a reminder of our National Pride.
Please join us as we retire our nation’s flag.

Cemetery Mowing & Trimming Bids Due

NOTICE

The Town of Blades will be accepting bids for the mowing and trimming of the grass at the Town Cemetery on Market Street. All bids must be submitted by April 9th, 2012 by 4:30pm to the Town Administrator. Copy of your Business License & Insurance Certificate must be attached with the bid. Please remove all Christmas and other Holiday Flowers & Decorations from the grave sites and stones at the Town Cemetery on Market Street by March 16^th, 2012 or the Town will remove and dispose of them. The Town will not be held liable for any holding frames removed, damaged, or disposed of.
