Seaford-Blades Bridge Closure
The Seaford-Blades Bridge will be closing January 30th, 2012 till February 3rd, 2012 from 8am to 2pm.
The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) has scheduled maintenance repairs to the drawbridge over the Nanticoke River in Seaford.
To decrease the impact on commuter traffic, all work will occur from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., each day beginning on Monday, January 30 and ending on Friday, February, 3, pending weather.
The detour route will be clearly posted for motorists.
Motorists should drive with caution, slow down in work zones, and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.

MLK Day 2012 – Closed
Town Hall will be closed January 16th, 2012 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We will re-open on Tuesday January 17th, 2012 at 8:30am.
Closed Dec. 26th – Holiday
The Town will be closed Monday, December 26th in Observance of the Christmas Holiday & Monday, January 2nd, 2012 for the New Year’s Holiday.
Oct. 31st Trick or Treating
Trick of Treating throughout town will be held from 6pm to 8pm for ages 12 and under! Have a safe and fun Halloween.
Blades Elementary Host a Tree Planting
The school along with the Town of Blades will host a tree planting on November 2nd from 9am-1pm. Over 30 trees will be planted in the school yard.
