2012 Arbor Day Celebration
Date Posted: Thursday, May 3rd, 2012On Thursday May 3rd, 2012 the Delaware Forest Service held it’s annual Arbor Day Celebration at Delaware State University. The Governor presented awards to the annual Arbor Day Poster Contest Winners, the communities which have received Tree City USA status from the National Arbor Day Foundation, and Blades Elementary School as Delaware’s first TREEriffic School. Presentation was also made to Delaware State University for being Delaware’s first Tree Campus USA.
