Brandon Slater, Water & Maintenance Supervisor, In recognition of 10 Years of Service

On Monday, August 8th, 2016, at the council meeting, Brandon Slater was recognized by Mayor and Council for his 10th anniversary with the town.  Brandon started working for the town on July 24th, 2006.  He has been very successful in advancing his skills and managing the progress for the town.  He has served under various commissioners for the Water Department, Streets Department, and the Parks & Cemetery Department.  Brandon has received many commendations for his snow plowing and streets management during snow events.  He has also been nominated for Water Operator of the Year Award.  He worked with the 100th Anniversary Committee to pull off a very successful weekend of celebration that included a parade and bbq.  Brandon maintains his water and wastewater license and continues furthering his education through training sessions. TOWN OF BLADES ELECTION Candidates wishing to run for the three (3) council seats that are up for election in Blades must file a letter of intent with the office of the Town Administrator. Forms may be obtained at the Town Hall or on Blades Elections. Candidates must file notice by the close of business at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 4th, 2016.
