Experiencing Pink or Purplish water?
Date Posted: Thursday, October 20th, 2016You may experience light pink or purplish water over the next few days. We are testing our greensand filters and had to shut the flow down to the filters for a short period of time. This caused us to give an extra amount of potassium permanganate into the system. Potassium permanganate is used to treat iron and maganese in our water. If you experience this discoloration it will not cause any harm. Any concerns please call town hall at 302-629-7366.
